This super easy recipe makes delicious kale chips which are great for a snack on the go or a crunchy, non-guilt treat while binge watching your favourite television show.


Side note: You can make this recipe vegan by substituting Nutritional Yeast for the Parmesan Cheese.


Kale Chip Recipe


4 Cups                               Kale; ribs cut out, torn or cut into medium sized (3 inch) piecesIMG_0372.JPG

1/3 Cup                              Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 Head                               Roasted Garlic (5-6 cloves)

1/3 Cup                              Parmesan Cheese; freshly grated

1 TSP  (each)                    Harissa Spice, Salt, Pepper


Cut the ribs out of your kale and tear or chop into medium sized pieces.
Place your kale in a large mixing bowl.

Preheat your oven to 300°F.

Using a fork, mix together Oil, Roasted Garlic, Parmesan Cheese, and spices.  Pour the mixture over kale and massage kale to ensure each piece of kale is evenly coated.

Place kale in a single layer on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 45-50 minutes, turning kale over once, halfway through. Let chips cool on the baking sheet and the store in an airtight container. IMG_0374.JPG
